We are sad to say goodbye to Liz Watson as the Chair on the Bloomsbury Band planning committee. In the nearly 3 years that she filled this role, she has ensured that the Bloomsbury Band has continued to flourish. Liz joined the committee shortly after the Band returned to live rehearsals following the Covid-19 pandemic, when a big recruitment drive was required to fill gaps left by members who had moved away from London. Together with Sarah and Mathilde as our Memberships Officers, she ensured that we were never short of players.

Chris, Chair of the Bloomsbury Music Group, used the opportunity presented by the interval in Liz's last concert with the Band to thank her for all the work she has done for the Band. Liz is joining the Bloomsbury Wind Ensemble (as a regular member, not the committee) where we hope she will enjoy her future musical adventures!

Mathilde is taking over from Liz, and Christine joins the committee for additional support. Thank you Liz, and we hope to see you in the audience at some of our concerts!
