The 2026 BWE May concert was the last time that our two music directors, Michael McGowan and Chris Spencer will conduct one of our performances. Sadly their new roles in Military Music are no longer compatible with leading our weekly rehearsals.

Our chair, Colin, thanked Michael and Chris for all that they have done to devise exciting concert programmes for BWE and to conduct our rehearsals and performances with great musical expertise, energy and good humour.
